Spicy Shrimp and Spinach Alfredo Recipe
Here’s a delicious and easy recipe to start your week off the right way!
- 1 lb. Shrimp
- 1 package linguine pasta
- 6 slices pepper bacon
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups spinach
- 2.5 teaspoons Chupacabra Rub Cajun Blend
- Fresh cherry tomatoes for garnish
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- Pepper to taste
First, put 6 slices of pepper bacon in the oven and broil on low. Then, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Add garlic and let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add shrimp to pan, season with 1 teaspoon of Chupacabra Rub Cajun Blend, and cook thoroughly. Once cooked, remove from pan and set aside for later. Add cream and spinach to pan. Add 1.5 teaspoons of Chupacabra Rub Cajun Blend and Pepper to taste. Add 1/2 cup parmesan. Reduce heat and let simmer 8 minutes. Once sauce is incorporated and spinach has wilted add cooked linguine, bacon, and shrimp. Mix together. Plate your pasta and top with more parmesan, fresh lemon juice, and fresh tomatoes! Enjoy!
